Welcome! My name is Mandy Snyder.
I am an IFS-informed somatic healer and group facilitator who fosters authentic connection, soulful creativity and transformative healing. If you are seeking more joy and ease, I invite you to dive in.
I offer individual sessions, groups and classes. Personal sessions focus on emotional healing, trauma resolution and self-discovery with touch work as an option, with in-person session. Sessions draw from Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, and other embodied approaches. We come home to the body, listen to the voices within and attend to them with compassion. Using gentle, yet potent tools, clients can shed old burdens, form healthy habits and decrease anxiety and depression.
Group work and classes are warm and connective spaces to grow. I offer groups in somatics and parts work, embodied storytelling, and embodied Enneagram.
Because my work was born out of a journey of significant health challenges and emotional upheaval, I have lived experience that these practices work. They radically improved the quality of my life and I am excited to share them with you.
If you feel drawn to my work, please reach out with any questions or sign up for a free 20-minute chat.
I am so glad you found me and I look forward to meeting you.
In Gratitude,
Mandy.

Individual Sessions:
Somatic Healing Sessions with Parts Work for trauma resolution, emotional healing, self-discovery and personal expression. These sessions combine elements of Somatic Experiencing with Parts Work (IFS), creativity and more. help guide you towards your own wisdom and teach you skills for working with challenging emotions. While personal healing can require courage as you meet inner challenges, my aim is to bring gentleness, and even some playfulness, to add light to dark spaces.
Groups & Classes:
There are no classes Scheduled at this time.
Past classes that I plan to offer again:
1) Intro to Parts Work (IFS): Morning Workshop
What the Experience Offers
Learn the basics of IFS, get questions answered and experience a taste of the work. Some exercises will be done in pairs or small groups and others done solo.
- Learn about common parts and relate them to your life
- Understand the main roles of parts: protectors and exiles
- Get to know Self energy, the name for our inner witness in IFS
- Do experiential exercises to get to know your parts and Self
- See a short demo or two to greater understand the model
2) Embodied IFS: Parts, Presence & Connection, a Weekend Retreat
This weekend retreat offers a space to slow down and listen inwardly so that expression and connection arise from genuine internal contact rather than habit or protection.Through somatic inquiry, IFS-informed parts work, and simple, accessible movement practices, participants explore how different parts of our self live in the body and shape expression, relationship, and choice. You'll learn to recognize protective strategies as they arise and meet them with curiosity, allowing more authentic connection to self and others. You'll practice witnessing and being witnessed without fixing or interpretation.
The retreat includes solo, dyad, and small-group practices. We also offer space for rest and integration through journaling, drawing and reflection. Designed for those with prior experience in inner work, this weekend supports deeper embodied awareness, honest expression, and relational presence.
4) Online Small groups in Parts Work and Somatics: 6 and 8 week series
This is weekly journey where you learn simple, but potent practices for healing, including body-based practices such as breath, movement and sensing, tools from IFS (parts work) and expressive arts. This small group of 3 to 6 people is a sweet space to nurture authentic connections with others as well. Each person has an opportunity to receive focused attention for 20 to 30 minutes with the compassionate witnessing of the group, at least once during the series. I provide guidance in rooting into your center, moving through emotions, and listening within. It is powerful to do this process with the support of the group and a rich experience to witness.
3) Embodied Enneagrams Workshops
The Enneagram is a potent map for self-discovery. Most teachings are done through readings or talking, but another depth of exploration and understanding can open up when we animate the types. Through the body, we can touch our subconscious where transformation stirs. This workshop, for Enneagram enthusiasts and newbies alike, brings the types to life through guided exercises using breath, sensing, movement and inter-relational play. It is for people who desire breakthroughs around old patterns and those who love gaining tools for understanding themselves and others. Come nurture self-compassion and greater understanding of others through this system with ancient and modern influences.
4) Embodied Personal Storytelling
ALL of us, no matter what kind of lives that we have lived, have tales to tell that are compelling to others. Sometimes these are stories of our peak highs and other times, our heartbreaks. They may be stories of the mundane, a funny anecdote or a frustrating family gathering. No matter what the topic, when we share our stories with each other, we find a sense of shared humanity that is deeply satisfying. In this embodied approach to personal storytelling, we use movement as the ground and inspiration for our stories. We slow down and connect to our bodies which lands us in the present moment where the magic happens. We move and speak, speak and move, not knowing what we are going to say; the words are waiting just beneath the surface. This work is connective, deep, playful and nourishes the soul.
